The idea of Squid Game was inspired by a genuine kid’s game that was well-liked in Korea. In contrast to the Hunger Games, there are other rewards besides money involved in this competition. To receive the gift, they must instead successfully complete a series of kid’s games.
Players are warned before the competition that they will perish if they lose. The participants are thereafter taken to an unidentified location where they are made to participate in violence. They might receive millions of dollars in awards if they are successful. The unsuccessful, however, are immediately put to death.
